Born in the 70s of the twentieth century. he remembers having a very strict teacher in primary school, who helped to shape his character. in his early youth he was an eclectic sportsman. To this day, he continues to practice his favorite sport: swimming. Because of his father's transfer, he had to live in Cidade da Beira. In 1991 he returned to Maputo for having been enlisted to do the compulsory military service. remember that \u201cit was at a time when the crackling of weapons was very strong and there was no certainty of salvation, for whoever was going to serve the troops\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He confesses that he didn't run away from the troop. He grew up in a religious family that served him as a pot of values such as compassion, respect for others and love of life.<\/p>\n

He started his university studies at UFICS, in 1997. \u201cwhere I met some colleagues who later became founding members of the CIP (Marcelo Mosse, Adriano nuvunga, S\u00e9lcia Lumbela, edson cortez and Ana Karina Cabral). Two years later I took a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. I then studied for a degree in Public Administration in 2001. These two areas (which complement each other) helped me to guide myself by living in a fair and transparent way\u201d<\/strong>, he explained.<\/p>\n

Most of the founding group of CIP studied at UFICS, at UEM. it was at the time of the transition from the Government of Joaquim Chissano to that of Armando Guebuza. \u201cin the government of the chissano president, the levels of corruption reached alarming levels; he was famous for the spirit of \u201cletting go\u201d, where everyone did what they wanted and understood. State coffers were looked at as a \u201cblue bag\u201d where everyone could take whatever they wanted, depending on the opportunities they had. We noticed the worsening of the living conditions of Mozambicans. We saw that this happened not only because we are a country without resources, it was also directly linked to ways of managing the public good.<\/strong>, explained bila.<\/p>\n

The events of the period detailed above served as the basis for consolidating the idea of founding the CIP in 2005. at that time, marcelo mosse and Adriano nuvunga worked with the SDC (Swiss Cooperation), in which Marc de Tollenaere advised them to organize themselves, because there was the possibility of taking more steps. it was in this scenario that the idea of forming the founding group arose.<\/p>\n
