In December 2015 the National Assembly approved the Government Budget for 2016. The OE was approved after incorporating comments from the Civil Society as well as economic developments in the international outlook that negatively affected Mozambique.<\/p>\n

This analysis compares the Proposed Budget 2016 (State Budget Proposal, POE), published in September 2015 (see Appendix 1) and the OE 2016, approved by the National Assembly in December 2015. OE incorporates comments made in the Article published by CIP on the analysis of the POE 2016 (with the key recommendations shown in Annex 1).<\/p>\n
