{"id":4305,"date":"2020-03-25T15:53:12","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T13:53:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cipmoz.org\/?p=4305"},"modified":"2020-06-02T12:40:04","modified_gmt":"2020-06-02T10:40:04","slug":"governo-deve-publicar-plano-de-contingencia-para-fazer-face-ao-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cipmoz.org\/en\/2020\/03\/25\/governo-deve-publicar-plano-de-contingencia-para-fazer-face-ao-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Government to publish contingency plan to face COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"eg4er\" data-offset-key=\"173kk-0-0\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"eg4er\" data-offset-key=\"3ur8k-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-offset-key=\"3ur8k-0-0\">The Government, through the Minister of Economy and Finance, announced on March 23, 2020, that the country needs around USD 703 million to face the COVID-19 pandemic, currently with three confirmed positive cases.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"eg4er\" data-offset-key=\"2ahkt-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"2ahkt-0-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"eg4er\" data-offset-key=\"6u5cm-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"6u5cm-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"6u5cm-0-0\">The CIP is aware that if this pandemic affects Mozambique, in the proportions in which it has reached countries like China, Italy and Spain, the Mozambican Government, with its own financial resources, will not be able to deal with the pandemic. However, the Governments of Mozambique before and even today have a history of mismanagement of funds and opportunism that spills over into corruption whenever natural disasters occur.
