The exclusion of essential clauses, such as in-kind tax payments and local content requirements, jeopardizes the country\u2019s development potential and threatens the creation of a more self-sustaining economy.<\/p>\n

With an investment of 7 billion dollars and promises of transformation for Mozambican communities, the future of one of the country\u2019s largest gas projects hangs in the balance.
