As poli\u0301ticas fiscais continuam a expandir-se em Moc\u0327ambique, na\u0303o obstante o facto de o Governo ter perdido o acesso a importantes fundos de financiamento externo desde 2016. Devido a\u0300 aplicac\u0327a\u0303o de poli\u0301ticas fiscais irresponsa\u0301veis que, consequentemente, mante\u0301m as taxas de juros muito altas, as medidas aplicadas no a\u0302mbito da poli\u0301tica fiscal seguida pelo Governo so\u0301 beneficiam os grupos mais pro\u0301ximos a\u0300 governac\u0327a\u0303o, defraudando as expectativas do povo.<\/p>\n

A economia (o produto interno bruto, PIB) esta\u0301 a crescer desde 2016 a\u0300 taxa me\u0301dia anual de cerca de 3,8%, cerca de 50% abaixo das taxas histo\u0301ricas de 7% registadas na de\u0301cada anterior. A me\u0301dio prazo (ate\u0301 2020), os economistas1 na\u0303o perspectivam uma melhoria no crescimento. Um importante evento \u2013 evento primordial (\u201cwatershed event\u201d)2 \u2013 que esteve na origem desta queda no crescimento foi a descoberta pu\u0301blica, em Abril de 2016, das famosas di\u0301vidas ocultas de US$ 2 bilho\u0303es.<\/p>\n
