Civil Society Report: on the implementation of Chapter II (Prevention) & Chapter V (Asset Recovery) of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption

The Republic of Mozambique signed the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) on May 25, 2004 and ratified it on December 26, 2006. This parallel report reviews Mozambique’s implementation of selected articles of Chapter II (Preventive measures) and Chapter V (Asset recovery) of the UNCAC. The report is intended as a contribution to the UNCAC implementation review process currently underway covering these chapters. Mozambique was selected by the UNCAC Implementation Review Group in July 4, 2016 by a drawing of lots for review in the first year of the second cycle.
