The Center for Public Integrity (CIP) and the Partnership for Social and Governance Research in Africa (PASGR), in collaboration with the Institute for Empowerment and Accountability Action (A4EA) of the Institute of Studies in Africa Development (IDS) at the University of Sussex, are organizing an international conference on governance in the extractive sector. The conference, scheduled for 4-5 September 2018 in Maputo, will provide a platform for researchers, senior management, policy makers, practitioners, activists, private companies and community-based organizations to exchange research experiences on the relationship between dissemination information and results of accountability, governance and inclusive growth.
