The resettlement of residents of the Afungi peninsula, in Palma district, Cabo Delgado province, where the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant and related infrastructure will be installed, is no longer taking place in an environment of conflict and open opposition. The noise that initially characterized the relationships between the local authorities, the families being resettled and Anadarko seems to be dissipating.
