The defense of Jean Boustani, the only defendant of hidden debts being tried in New York, questioned in court an American firm of investors called Ice Canyon, how it agreed to invest in the companies ProIndicus and EMATUM, knowing that “the Government of Mozambique is highly corrupt”.
