The right of citizens to travel outside Mozambique (Maputo – Lisbon) is being subject to the need to obtain an authorization from the Ministry of Interior (MINT). The referred condition/imposition grossly violates the right to free movement provided for in the Constitution of the Republic of Mozambique (CRM) and is a kind of camouflaged return to the bad memory of “Guias de Marcha”, but surreptitiously, under the pretext of trying to control the spread of Covid – 19 in Mozambican territory.
