The TI Corruption Perception Index for the year 2020 does not show encouraging results for Mozambique, compared to previous years (2017 – 2019). This index shows, particularly in relation to the country, a regression in its classification among the evaluated countries.

In this sense, in the TI 2020 index, Mozambique ranked, in terms of rank (position), at number 149 and, in terms of score (score), at number 25. It means that given this fact, the country dropped by one point in the ranking, if we take into account that in the previous year it stood at position 146 and obtained 26 points.
