The Assembly of the Republic (AR) started a process of approval of the Bills of the known “Anti-Corruption Legislative Package”. However, the approval process is taking place and will continue in a fragmented manner: the amendment to the Organic Law of the Attorney General's Office and the Statute of Public Prosecution Service Magistrates (LOPGR) was approved by Law n. 14/2012, of February 8th; the Draft Law for the Protection of Victims, Whistleblowers, Witnesses and Other Procedural Subjects (LPVDT) was approved and debate was started, at the level of working committees, on the Code of Ethics for Public Servants.
