Um voo em cruzeiro concebido há 19 anos por três mosqueteiros e sob comando certo

The Center for Public Integrity (CIP) presented today (Friday) the new director of the institution, Edson Cortez (PhD), who has been in office since June 1, 2018 and honored the outgoing director, Prof. Dr. Adriano Nuvunga.
In a simple and emotional environment, held in the organization's courtyard, it was up to Fidelia Chemane, Edson Cortez and Adriano Nuvunga's portfolio colleague, at the extinct Training and Research Unit in Social Sciences (UFICS) of the Eduardo Mondlande University, to present the path of the CIP and the new director. “We look at CIP as a baby born talking. But not quite! The CIP we know today was designed 19 years ago, in UFICS portfolios, by three mosquito nets” he began by saying.

The three musketeers are Marcelo Mosse, Adriano Nuvunga and Edson Cortez, founding members and directors of the institution by the same sequence. Fidelia said that the three, as students, stood out in the debate of ideas and “were always one step ahead” of the others and these ideas resulted in the CIP. In Fidelia's words, the current director of the CIP is the third of the musketeers to assume the position of director of the CIP. He described his election to office as "a relay race."
